No. Lumen does not intentionally use private journal entries to train a public AI model. Core journaling features work without sending entries to an external AI provider, and no external AI provider is currently enabled in production.
The free plan includes unlimited text memories, guided questions, Journal, Universe and Insights views, search, sync, private reminders, and JSON or ZIP export.
Lumen Plus is not currently offered for purchase. We paused new subscriptions while shaping optional features that are genuinely distinct from unlimited private writing.

Yes. Export your account as JSON, or as a ZIP archive including stored attachments. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated journal data from the account controls.
No. Lumen is a tool for personal journaling and reflection, not a medical, mental health, crisis, legal, or financial service. Contact local emergency services or a qualified professional when you need urgent help.
